Thursday’s rain chance increasing – Chris By KSTP Good Tuesday evening to one and all! We’re in a cooler stretch now, and clouds will stick around tonight with temperatures falling into the upper 40s.Wednesday stays cool and mostly dry, with variably cloudy skies and highs near 60 degrees. The main weather change arrives Thursday. Rain is likely across much of the region, especially south of a line from Willmar to St. Cloud to Hinckley. That puts the Twin Cities firmly in the better rain zone, with a cool and damp day expected. Highs may only reach the mid-50s.By Friday, the rain is gone, but it will feel chilly and windy. Highs stay in the mid-50s, and Friday night could dip into the upper 30s.The weekend looks much better.Saturday turns mostly sunny and seasonable, with highs in the low 60s. Sunday gets even nicer, with sunshine and highs climbing into the upper 60s.That warming trend continues into early next week, with highs near 70 Monday and into the low 70s Tuesday. So plan around a wet Thursday and a chilly Friday, then enjoy what looks like a beautiful October weekend.Enjoy the evening, and take care!– Meteorologist Chris Reece
